Job Summary
Independently produce structural drawings for steel structures and concrete foundations, ensuring on-time delivery and quality consistency. Collaborate with mechanical and electrical designers to resolve 3D model clashes and optimize overall design. Adapt to diverse technologies across power generation, mining, oil & gas, and renewables sectors, including carbon capture, solar, wind, and hydrogen projects. Travel to client facilities as necessary to verify on-site physical design conditions. This role requires a hybrid schedule of three office days and two remote days, with a base salary ranging from $68,325 to $104,385. No work authorization sponsorship is available for this position.
Required Qualifications
- Dependent upon your location, this opportunity offers a generous relocation package
- Associate Degree in Computer Aided Design Technology preferred
- CAD certificate required if non-degreed
- Minimum of 5 years of experience required
- Proficiency in at least one major CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, Tekla, Revit, SmartPlant 3D)
- Knowledge of American Concrete Institute (ACI) for foundation design
- Knowledge of American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) manual for steel design
- Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
