Job Summary
Create detailed structural drawings and plans for process and power facilities using AutoCAD Plant 3D, CADWorx, or equivalent CAD software. Interpret engineering specifications, sketches, and calculations to produce accurate, compliant documentation for oil and gas projects. Collaborate with engineers and construction teams to ensure designs meet project requirements and industry standards, then review and revise drawings based on feedback to maintain accuracy. Maintain organized documentation and version control for all project files.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D or CADWorx or equivalent CAD software with a focus on structural drafting
- Experience in drafting structural components for process or power facilities, preferably within oil and gas sectors
- Experience with 3D modeling software such as AUTOCAD Plant 3D or CADWorks
Desired Qualifications
- Certification as a Certified Designer (CD) or similar professional credential
- Knowledge of welding symbols, fabrication processes, and material specifications
- Previous experience working on industrial or energy projects
