Job Summary
Perform structural analysis and design for commercial, tenant improvement, and civic projects while taking ownership of tasks across multiple active deadlines. Prepare detailed calculations, reports, and construction documents, coordinating with architects, contractors, and internal teams to meet client expectations and project timelines. Apply engineering judgment to real-world constraints, participate in site visits and field coordination, and support early-career engineers through mentorship. Operate in a high-volume environment balancing independent work with team collaboration, typically working three days per week in the NYC office with onboarding requiring extended in-office presence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- At least 3 years of structural design experience
- Ability to contribute with minimal ramp-up
- Experience working on multiple concurrent projects
- Strong understanding of real-world project delivery
- EIT required
- Proficiency in structural analysis/design software
- Experience with Revit and/or AutoCAD
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Team members are typically in the office three days per week
- Mondays and Thursdays serving as core in-office collaboration days
- During onboarding and training, employees are expected to spend additional time in the office

- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- PE in progress or recently obtained
- Physical mobility and navigation of uneven terrain for field visits
