Job Summary
Join Olsson’s South Facilities Engineering and Design team as a Design Associate to draft detailed structural drawings and layouts using Revit, collaborate with engineers and clients, and help improve drafting standards while delivering code-compliant drawings for healthcare, data centers, education, and commercial projects. The role emphasizes independent drafting work, supervising less experienced staff, and contributing to project documentation and timelines. Proficiency in Revit/BIM/CAD, strong attention to detail, ability to communicate effectively, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment are required.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Drafting/Design Technology or related field preferred
- Strong proficiency in Revit and BIM/CAD tools
- Experience in structural drafting and/or design
- Understanding of structural detailing, building systems, and construction documentation
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
