Job Summary
Lead structural analysis and substantiation for STC programs, develop and review structural certification deliverables and compliance plans, ensure airworthiness in accordance with FAR/CAR 23/25/27/29, interface with Transport Canada, FAA, and EASA, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with avionics and systems teams to deliver integrated, airworthy designs. Willingness to travel and participate in audits and certification activities. In-office role based in Kelowna, BC with relocation support.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in aircraft structural analysis and certification
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility
- Demonstrated experience with STC structural substantiation and certification approval processes
- Strong knowledge of applicable structural airworthiness regulations (FAR/CAR 23/25/27/29)
- Proficiency in structural analysis methods and tools (FEM/FEA)
- Willingness to travel as required
