Job Summary
Structural Concrete Superintendent responsible for day-to-day field concrete operations on Valar Atomics construction projects. Lead and supervise concrete crews, equipment operators, and subcontractors; coordinate formwork, reinforcement, concrete placement, finishing, curing, and related activities; ensure safety, schedule adherence, quality, and budget alignment; maintain daily reports and progress logs; work with project managers, inspectors, and other trades to resolve field issues; conduct daily safety meetings and promote a strong safety culture. Requires high school diploma or GED and 5+ years of concrete-construction experience with crew supervision; strong knowledge of placement, finishing, formwork, reinforcement, and curing; ability to read drawings and schedules; strong leadership and communication skills; basic computer proficiency; valid driver’s license; ability to work outdoors in varying weather; willingness to travel to project sites.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 5+ years of experience in concrete construction with experience leading crews or supervising field operations
- Strong understanding of concrete placement, finishing, formwork, reinforcement, and curing practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and construction management software
- Valid driver's license and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
