Job Summary
Direct the activities of workers engaged in construction and maintenance for large residential projects in Orange County. Manage company policies for safety, quality, and productivity while developing execution plans based on engineering drawings, materials, and budgets. Supervise the field workforce to ensure cost-efficient work, inspect all progress to verify conformance with specifications, and oversee means, methods, and schedules. Order procurement of tools and materials to meet specified delivery times. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to strict safety standards and procedures. Resolve client issues quickly through direct interface. Requires 10+ years of hands-on experience in concrete construction with expertise in architectural concrete and broad understanding of scheduling, budgeting, and project closeout.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a hands-on Project Superintendent in Concrete construction
- expertise and working experience with architectural concrete
- broad understanding of all aspects of construction including on-site inspection, verification of conformance with Contract Documents, scheduling, project budget/costs, progress reporting, and project closeout
- strong leadership ability to supervise team members, sub-contractors, and provide administrative backup to achieve our client's total satisfaction
- interface with our client and make sure any problems that arise are resolved quickly
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
