Job Summary
Prepare industrial and large-scale structural concrete estimates for final submittal to clients; coordinate with estimating team on projects with multi-discipline scopes of work; develop and cultivate positive relationships with clients and new clients, subcontractors and vendors; attend pre-bid meetings and make site visits; prepare strategy and project approach write-up; self-starting mentality with the ability to multitask; assess and mitigate project risk while creating a bid proposal.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the construction industry as a Concrete Estimator for industrial and commercial.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Strong oral and written skills.
- Positive and productive work attitude.
- Ability to provide a detailed, proficient concrete takeoff.
- Ability to be self-starter.
- Possess critical thinking skills with ability to work in complex environments.
- Proficient with HCSS Heavy Bid, Microsoft Office Products, Dropbox or other file sharing software, Bluebeam, and an approved takeoff software package (i.e. AgTek, Earthworks, etc.).
- Current driver’s license.
