Job Summary
In-house Structural CAD Technician at EquipmentShare's Corporate Headquarters in Columbia, MO, producing accurate structural construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit, coordinating structural designs with architectural layouts and MEP systems, reviewing shop drawings and RFIs, and assisting other disciplines as needed. Role supports multiple retail, commercial, and light-industrial projects with minimal supervision, requiring collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and strong attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in Engineering Design Technology or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- At least 5 years of structural design/drafting experience
- Advanced knowledge of 2D AutoCAD
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects with other team members
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to mentor other team members
