Job Summary
Compile data, assist with permit and report preparation, and complete elementary design calculations and engineering plans. Perform basic design tasks using engineering software and technology, prepare drawings and visual aids, and conduct as-needed field reviews of ongoing construction projects. Maintain awareness of applicable federal, state, and local codes while possessing basic knowledge of production software. This Associate I role supports the buildings team in designing facilities across various sectors, fostering deep client understanding and redefining client service.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 0-3 years experience
- Awareness of applicable federal, state and local codes, criteria, regulations, and ordinances
- Basic knowledge of production software
- Solid oral and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, team members, and other key stakeholders
