Job Summary
The Structural Bridge Project Manager will manage bridge and transportation design projects, creating and executing project work plans including scope, schedule, and budget estimates. Responsibilities include managing project teams, mentoring junior staff, contributing to strategic growth initiatives, and maintaining relationships with key clients like KDOT and MoDOT. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline, at least 7 years of bridge design experience, proficiency in steel/concrete design software, and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum of 7+ years of bridge design experience including project management responsibility
- A track record of adhering to design budgets and project schedules
- Excellent communication and client relation skills
- Strong understanding and familiarity with steel/concrete design software
- Willingness to travel to project/work sites as necessary
Desired Qualifications
- Registered Engineer in Kansas and/or Missouri
- Proven experience on KDOT or MoDOT bridge projects
- Seller/Doer mentality, client interaction experience
- Experience with bridge inspection, including completed NHI training
