Job Summary
Lead and manage the planning, design, and delivery of bridge projects from concept through construction. Mentor and develop junior engineers, promote collaboration and growth. Prepare proposals and marketing presentations. Pursue and win projects with FDOT and local agency clients. Manage multiple projects; oversee and coordinate project teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery in accordance with design standards. Serve as the primary client contact, maintain strong client relationships, and provide technical oversight and quality assurance for bridge designs. Candidates must be registered in Florida (PE) with a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering (MS preferred); 15 years of related bridge-design experience; strong communication skills; ability to work in a team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Registered PE in the State of Florida
- BS degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university
- MS preferred
- 15 related years of bridge design experience
- experience pursuing and managing multi-discipline projects
- client relationships with FDOT District Four and FDOT District Six
- ability to work in a team environment
- good oral and written communications in English
- authorize to work in the United States
