Structural BIM Technician

Job Summary
Layout of construction drawings based on preliminary architectural plans/models, adaptation of standard details to projects, and detailing of unique conditions. Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines; develop positive client relationships; demonstrate increasing levels of responsibility and leadership; work independently or collaboratively with a team; manage priorities to meet deadlines. Requires proficiency in drafting/CAD technology and strong written/verbal communication skills; exposure to or experience with BIM programs and building design processes; preferred degree or certificate in Drafting and CAD Technology, with potential for progress in technical and leadership roles.
Required Qualifications
- A Certificate of Achievement in Drafting and Computer-Aided Design Technology or equivalent, or an Associate of Applied Science degree in Drafting and Design Engineering Technology preferred
