Job Summary
Prepare bridge and structural plans, specifications, and estimates for clients on public and private bridge projects throughout the city. Perform engineering tasks for retaining walls and other structural design efforts while receiving mentorship and training in plan production, project financials, and client interactions. This entry-level role requires a civil engineering graduate with one year of experience, a degree from an ABET-accredited university, and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D. Applicants must demonstrate strong communication skills, self-initiative to meet deadlines, and the ability to work independently within a team environment. Required Qualifications
- 1+ years experience with a civil engineering design firm
- Bachelors or Masters from an ABET accredited university in the field of Civil Engineering
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
- Detail-oriented with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
- Ability to work independently and as a team
