Structural Analysis Engineer I - 044QE

Perform analysis-driven design by building structural and thermal simulations, optimizing and redesigning systems that do not meet load or environment requirements, and correlating simulations to match testing. Generate finite element models, create custom codes to expand analysis workflows, and present findings to the project team or customer. Support test plan development and execution of feasibility studies while documenting work in Microsoft Word or PowerPoint. This role involves working with leading commercial simulation software including NASTRAN, Abaqus, ANSYS, Hypermesh, and FEMAP on aerospace, optical, and spacecraft projects.
