Job Summary
Structural Analysis Engineer responsible for performing structural analysis of aircraft structures (airframe: wing or fuselage) including loads, static and fatigue analyses; generating documentation (stress check notes) for certification/qualification; supporting in-service product improvements; developing repairs; and ensuring regulatory compliance with FAA requirements. The role may include leading a team of stress analysts at higher levels and coordinating with cross-functional teams on international programs. Experience with static, fatigue, and damage tolerance analyses, and familiarity with CATIA, Nastran/Patran, and FAA regulations is valued.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
- Strong knowledge of strength of materials (hand calculation, analytical methods)
- Strong knowledge of aircraft structure design philosophy
- Solid communicator, intermediate level or higher in both written and verbal English
- Readiness to work with multi-functional team in a flexible schedule (weekends/holidays support, overtime, shifted work schedule) to meet the business needs
- Readiness for business trips – up to 25% of working time
