Job Summary
Extend and optimize the Rules Engine while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions. Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot software defects, and assist in designing new features using the You Build It, You Run It principle. Develop unit and integration tests, document technical specifications, and support application deployment in development and production environments. Contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives within small Agile teams. This role requires deep expertise in Java Core, Multithreading, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, and RDBMS. Located in Lviv, the team processes hundreds of millions of daily transactions for iGaming solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Deep understanding of Java Core: collections, performance tuning, type systems, garbage collection, and exception handling
- Expertise in Multithreading & Concurrency: managing asynchronous computations and ensuring thread safety
- Strong experience in HTTP & RESTful Services: developing and consuming RESTful services
- Proficiency in RDBMS & SQL: writing complex SQL queries and understanding RDBMS theory
- Practical experience with Spring Boot: Spring ecosystem with a strong theoretical foundation
- Proven experience with Apache Kafka: practical application and theoretical knowledge
- Demonstrated ability in Unit/Integration Testing: writing testable code with adequate coverage
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Docker & Kubernetes
- Experience with the Google Cloud platform
- Knowledge of Online Casino/Sports Systems
