Job Summary
Coordinate quality assurance, develop goals and objectives, and implement department-wide policies and procedures for Stroke Center Certification and Trauma Designation. Organize services and systems for a multidisciplinary approach across the continuum of care while coordinating with the Emergency Department, Nursing units, Laboratory, and Radiology. Lead orientation and training for staff in the ER/ICU regarding Stroke Center Certifications and Trauma Designation. Requires current RN registration, two years of clinical experience, and demonstrated leadership in Emergency and Critical Care nursing.
Required Qualifications
- Current registration as RN in the state (or eligibility to do so)
- Demonstrated clinical competence in Emergency and Critical Care nursing
- Demonstrated leadership ability and potential managerial competency
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to deal well with people
- Ability to solve problems
- Ability to confront/resolve issues
- Ability to motivate others
- Ability to plan, organize and direct the activities of others
- Required to comply with OSHA regulations for the N95 respirator training and fit testing
Desired Qualifications
- BSN preferred
- Two years of clinical experience preferred
