Job Summary
Pavement-marking laborer duties including assisting the machine operator, operating pavement marking equipment, loading/unloading gear, and setting up traffic control for roadwork; perform temporary and permanent striping in compliance with regulations and company policies. Requires MOT Advanced certification and 3-5 years’ pavement marking/traffic control or related experience. Must hold a valid driver's license (MVR check), be prepared for background and drug tests, and work a flexible schedule including day or night shifts with overtime. Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work outdoors in varying weather and traffic conditions.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of pavement marking and Traffic Control or related industry experience
- MOT Advanced certification
- Valid driver's license
- Background and criminal record check may be required
- MVR (driving record) check
- Controlled substance test
- Ability to operate pavement marking equipment
- Ability to load/unload equipment
- Ability to work day or night shifts
- Ability to work overtime and flexible schedule
