Job Summary
Set stringless controls equipment to communicate with paving machinery and independently set stringline and concrete forms on highway construction projects. Operate hand and power tools, air hammers, and measuring equipment while moving joint baskets weighing up to 70 lbs and inserting L-bars into concrete slabs every two feet. Shovel excess concrete, carry materials up to 75 lbs over 150 feet, and assist in placing and dismantling traffic control devices. Work outdoors in extreme temperatures for 10-14 hours daily, adhering to safety requirements and team assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen with a 'Negative' result
- Must be able to complete a post-offer physical with a 'Capable' result
