Stretch Specialist

Job Summary
Develop safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive goal achievement and retention. Lead clients through assisted stretch sessions using techniques like PNF and contract-relax stretching, and guide recovery sessions with assisted stretching, hypervolt percussion, and breathing drills. Conduct stretch and recovery demos for new clients, including pre-participation screening, medical history reviews, and goal setting. Provide fitness floor assistance to ensure safety, offer education, and motivate members while promoting stretch session programs. Complete all administrative requirements and document client programming aspects. Maintain current certifications and continuing education to advance throughout the program levels.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified personal Trainer
- CPR and AED Certified
- Knowledge of assisted stretching and other recovery techniques
- Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class
- Ability to bend, stand, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- At least 1 year of personal training experience
- Bachelors degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or other related field
- Assisted Stretching Certification (AIS, FST, or similar)
