Job Summary
Conduct assisted stretch and recovery sessions using techniques like PNF, contract-relax stretching, and hypervolt percussion to help members move better. Develop safe, comprehensive client programs that drive goal achievement and retention while leading pre-participation screenings and goal setting for new clients. Provide fitness floor assistance to ensure safety, educate members, and promote stretch session programs and personal training services. Complete all administrative requirements for client fitness plans, maintain current certifications and industry trends, and document all programming aspects.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified personal Trainer
- CPR and AED Certified
- Knowledge of assisted stretching and other recovery techniques
- Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class
- Ability to bend, stand, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- At least 1 year of personal training experience
- Bachelors degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or other related field
- Assisted Stretching Certification (AIS, FST, or similar)
