Stretch Specialist

Job Summary
Develop safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive goal achievement and retention. Lead members through assisted stretch sessions using techniques like PNF and contract-relax stretching, and guide recovery sessions with assisted stretching, hypervolt percussion, and breathing drills. Conduct pre-participation screenings, medical history reviews, and goal setting for new clients to assess and recommend stretching programs. Provide fitness floor assistance, promote stretch session programs, and complete all administrative requirements for client fitness plans. Maintain current certifications and continuing education to advance throughout the levels program while ensuring superior customer service and documenting all client programming aspects.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- CPR and AED Certified
- Knowledge of assisted stretching and other recovery techniques
- Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class
- Ability to bend, stand, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- At least 1 year of personal training experience
- Bachelors degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or other related field
- Assisted Stretching Certification (AIS, FST, or similar)
