Stretch Specialist

Job Summary
Develop safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive goal achievement and retention. Lead clients through assisted stretch sessions using techniques like PNF and contract-relax stretching, and guide recovery sessions with assisted stretching, hypervolt percussion, and breathing drills. Conduct pre-participation screenings, medical history reviews, and goal setting for new clients to assess and recommend stretching programs. Provide fitness floor assistance to ensure safety, educate members, and motivate them while promoting stretch session programs. Complete all administrative requirements for client fitness plans and document programming aspects. Remain current on certifications, industry trends, and continuing education to advance through the levels program. Ensure members feel competent and confident by delivering superior customer service through complimentary and based services.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified personal Trainer
- CPR and AED Certified
- Knowledge of assisted stretching and other recovery techniques
- Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class
- Ability to bend, stand, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- At least 1 year of personal training experience
- Bachelors degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or other related field
- Assisted Stretching Certification (AIS, FST, or similar)
