Job Summary
Lead Engineer for stress and life analysis of gas turbine components with technical leadership and mentoring responsibilities. Drive analysis of static structures and rotating engine components (including nonlinear analyses with frictional contacts, preloads, thermal gradients, and pressure loads). Provide direction, review, and substantiation of technical data; collaborate across design, materials, manufacturing, and program teams to resolve issues and support execution. Prepare and present technical results, ensuring quality and documentation in line with engineering policies. Support root cause investigations, field/problem resolution, and design improvements related to structural integrity and life. Emphasizes knowledge sharing, rigorous analysis, and continuous improvement; operates in a hybrid setting with Prague-based work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Significant experience in stress and life analysis
- Proficiency in English
- Demonstrated experience in structural analysis of gas turbine components and hardware
- Experience with finite element analysis and interpretation of analytical results
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work across functions and provide technical leadership
