Job Summary
Stress Analysis Engineer to lead design analysis of CANDU reactor components, systems and structures, perform engineering calculations for pressure-boundary components, prepare formal technical reports, review design documents and calculations, manage budgets and proposals, ensure QA compliance, and coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary teams. Requires Mechanical Engineering degree with related experience (Junior–Senior levels implied by years of experience), familiarity with CANDU reactor design principles, GD&T interpretation, finite element analysis tools (ANSYS, LS-DYNA, ABAQUS), and strong communication in English. Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina; on-site role with no remote option stated. English resume preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in design and analysis of mechanical systems or equipment
- Strong knowledge of CANDU design principles
- Experience with finite element analysis tools (ANSYS, LS-DYNA, ABAQUS)
- Experience with GD&T
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
