Job Summary
Conduct strengths-based academic and behavioral support for a specific caseload of scholars using the SOAR process to identify strengths, opportunities, and aspirations. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and Promise Neighborhood staff to implement evidence-based practices and create individual leverage plans. Document scholar portfolios of academic and social-emotional strengths, progress monitor caseload metrics, and submit weekly report logs to the School Renewal Specialist. Ensure compliance with the Grand Rapids Southeast Promise Neighborhood Grant pipeline initiatives while maintaining regular in-person attendance.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with urban high school students
- Consistently demonstrate dependable attendance
