Job Summary
Lead development and implementation of strength & conditioning programs within UFC Performance Institute (China), collaborating with senior leaders to advance MMA and multi-sport performance. Conduct individual and group S&C sessions for Academy MMA and elite athletes, design athlete assessments and data-management systems, and foster partnerships with coaches, gyms, and consultants. Drive measurement of progress, set and pursue S&C targets, and innovate evidence-based methodologies to enhance training outcomes. Support ongoing professional development of UFCPI staff and ensure adherence to professional standards and confidentiality, while contributing to research initiatives and the integration of sports-science technology (e.g., heart rate monitoring, RPE, video analysis). Maintain comprehensive records of work with athletes and coaches for ongoing evaluation and improvement, and assist in applying new science to optimize performance.
Required Qualifications
- Post Graduate Degree in Exercise Science or other related curriculum required.
- 2+ years of high-level technical experience in science, research, and strength and conditioning fields.
- Certification as CSCS, CES, PES, UKSCA, or ASCA Level 2 and above.
- Previous experience working effectively in a high-performance environment with elite athletes and coaches.
