STREET DEPARTMENT - Laborer II

Laborer II in the Street Department performs maintenance, repair, and construction tasks related to streets, sidewalks, curbs, and other public infrastructure. Responsibilities include inspecting and patching potholes, repairing cracks, replacing damaged pavement sections, installing/maintaining street signage and traffic barriers, operating equipment (jackhammers, saws, concrete mixers) safely, coordinating with street department staff and contractors, maintaining work records, and adhering to safety procedures and PPE. The role is an essential service position and duties may be required during emergencies.
