Job Summary
Deliver daily instruction to PreK-5th grade students in classroom programs, after school sessions, and science celebrations across Allentown School District locations. Co-teach with district staff, set up educational environments, and actively engage guests in integrated STREAM learning experiences. Plan and lead curriculum development, train volunteers, and incorporate feedback into future lessons while maintaining safety protocols and cleaning stations. Participate in meetings, provide feedback on the partnership, and contribute to future programming development. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a STEAM or Education field
- Minimum of two years' experience in a similar education environment or experience working with the public and with children of all ages
- Classroom experience
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Publisher)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized and self-motivated individual
- Successful completion of a criminal background check including checks through Pennsylvania State Police and Pennsylvania Child Abuse Registry and FBI fingerprinting checks
- Valid Driver's License
- proof of Auto Insurance coverage
