Job Summary
Strategy Lead for IT Services risk and control within Barclays, focusing on developing and executing strategic direction, managing IT service risk and governance, and delivering cross-functional programs to improve resilience, cost-efficiency, and reporting. Leads stakeholder engagement with senior management, aligns IT service performance with policy and control targets, and oversees incident/problem/change management using ITIL and ServiceNow. The role may involve leading Run the Bank initiatives in Financial Crime Technology, translating executive vision into operational governance, and mentoring specialists while ensuring adherence to Barclays’ values and governance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in technology service management including incident, problem, and change management using the ITIL framework with ServiceNow
- Exceptional stakeholder management, data-driven problem solving, and the ability to negotiate and influence across cross-functional teams
- Subject matter expertise in at least one of: project management, risk & control, strategy & transformation, or resilience
