Job Summary
Lead Strategy & Operations for expanding AI-powered home services verticals. Go deep into new verticals by talking directly to business owners to understand workflows, economics, and pain points; determine opportunities and build the prioritization framework for the company. Translate customer insights into product requirements—partner with engineering and product to adapt AI agents for each vertical. Develop go-to-market strategies, partnership plays, and onboarding playbooks tailored to each vertical. Build the repeatable playbook the company uses to enter, validate, and scale every future vertical.
Required Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience across strategy consulting, PE-backed home services, and/or high-growth startups
- Strategy consulting background (MBB or similar tier)
- Operational experience at a PE-backed home services company (e.g., roofing, HVAC, plumbing) or deep familiarity with the home services industry
- Strong customer discovery skills
- Highly competitive undergraduate or MBA program (e.g., Berkeley, Stanford, Ivy)
- High agency — runs independently with minimal direction in fast-paced environments
- Interest in product — you'll have significant influence on the product roadmap based on your vertical research
