Job Summary
Strategy-focused role in Charlie Health's People function: develop and maintain workforce analytics, drive retention and onboarding programs, lead cross-functional projects across People, Finance, and Operations, and advance AI-powered automation to modernize the People team. Responsibilities include building dashboards and models to track headcount, attrition, and hiring velocity; owning program design and operational infrastructure for retention initiatives (e.g., HiPo program, Analyst/Associate Council); coordinating multi-team projects; identifying manual workflows ripe for automation; partnering with Finance on headcount tracking and compensation benchmarking. Key skills include Excel/Google Sheets modeling, SQL or BI tools (Tableau/Looker/Power BI), strong project management, effective communication, and an interest in applying AI/automation to people operations.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or a strategy & operations role at a high-growth company
- Exceptional analytical skills with fluency in Excel/Google Sheets; SQL or BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI) a strong plus
- Strong project-management instincts; ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver on time
- Clear, concise communication; ability to package complex analysis for senior audiences
- Interest in AI/automation applied to people operations is a plus
- Located within 45 minutes of NYC and able to work 4+ days/week in office
