Job Summary
Strategy & Design Consultant (Contractor) at DC Design via Imperative Recruiting. Freelance, part-time contractor role focused on applying human-centered design to social-impact projects, including planning and leading design thinking workshops, conducting empathy interviews, developing strategic planning processes, synthesizing research, and delivering client recommendations. Responsibilities span end-to-end project work, client relations, and collaboration with cross-functional teams; strong writing and communication are essential, with emphasis on independent work in a remote, off-site setting and experience collaborating with communities of color.
