Job Summary
Strategist, Therapeutics to lead primary research initiatives in Guidepoint’s biotech/pharma coverage, design and execute expert interviews, mentor junior analysts, and develop client-engagement plans in collaboration with the Global Head of Healthcare. The role involves planning and generating timely, topical content for US institutional investors, preparing for interviews by reviewing SEC filings and investor materials, and coordinating with Outreach to highlight actionable takeaways, all from a hybrid New York City office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degrees (MBA, PhD) preferred
- 10+ years of investment related research experience on buy side or sell side covering Biotech/Pharma
- Experience conducting therapeutics company research is required
- Strong analytical and mentoring capabilities
- Proficiency in investment principles, market trends, and research methodologies
