Job Summary
Establish and administer Marine Corps strategic and operational installation programs, projects, and actions for the MCICOM G-5 Planning Support. Support development of plans, processes, procedures, and policy in alignment with enterprise-level basing initiatives, including DOTMLPF-C integration, Strategic Basing, Joint Basing, BRAC, and Force Design. Develop Planning Orders, Operations Orders, and Letters of Instruction to implement installation guidance while conducting reviews to propose updates to applicable directives. Document, track, and communicate G-5 Plans meetings, actions, and COMMCICOM installation guidance. Establish and refine Marine Corps processes and policies for managing strategic and operational installation issues. Provide conference planning and meeting support, including pre-event coordination and post-event activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Over 10 years of experience in strategic planning, installation management, or related fields
- Active Secret security clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, community planning, or facility management; or 10 years of experience as an analyst or program manager at the Service Component Headquarters or DoW level
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Prior military experience
- Prior experience working on military basing programs
- Knowledge of and experience using Microsoft Office software
