Job Summary
Strategic Value & Process Optimisation Consultant (internal title: Value Engineer) drives the end-to-end value journey for Celonis customers, partnering with Sales and delivery teams to translate business needs into AI-driven process mining use cases, develop tailored business cases and PoV projects, and realize measurable ROI. Responsibilities include framing value with sales, executing delivery plans leveraging SaaS and AI/ML capabilities, and growing accounts by aligning with executive stakeholders and identifying expansion opportunities. Requires deep process/industry expertise, proficiency in Python/ML libraries, SQL, and ability to communicate roadmaps/results to CIO/C-level executives. Hybrid work model with a Madrid, Spain base is indicated; role focuses on cross-functional collaboration, customer outcomes, and scalable value realization across industries.
Required Qualifications
- +4 years of experience leading technical pre-sales and delivery projects, including defining AI roadmaps and ROI/TCO business cases
- Proven ability to translate high-level business needs into AI/use-case level value across sectors (Manufacturing, Retail, Finance, Supply Chain)
- Experience prototyping ML/generative AI solutions and ensuring health and expansion within the customer journey
- Knowledge of AI/data/analytics concepts relevant to business value (RAG, few-shot learning, prompt engineering, multi-agent orchestration, multimodal understanding, fine-tuning)
- Strong SQL and programming experience (Python, LangChain, pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch) and data engineering tools
- Experience with SaaS deployments, RPA and BI tools, and building dashboards
- Experience communicating roadmaps/results to CIO/C-level stakeholders
- Degree in Technology & Management, Industrial/Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience preferred
