Job Summary
Strategic Technology Innovator responsible for leading IT initiatives with company-wide impact, managing technical operations, architecture, development, business analysis, and audit support within Fidelity Clearing Canada. Drive strategic planning and prioritization of IT projects, collaborate with business partners to implement solutions, and deliver high-quality client experiences. Serve as SME on application support, mentor team members, and pursue continuous improvement in processes and technology usage. Requires strong knowledge of FCC business model, on-premise and cloud security principles, Dataphile exposure, SQL and automation experience, and 7+ years in IT ops leadership within financial services. Eligible for 100% remote work arrangements in Canada with opportunities across Toronto, Vancouver, and Calgary offices.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years in an IT Operations lead role
- Level 3 support experience
- 5 to 7 years financial industry experience
- Education: University degree or College diploma (Engineering or Computer Science) or equivalent work experience
- Strong knowledge of FCC business model including Correspondent Brokers and Portfolio Managers
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong interpersonal skills in a multi-department setting
- Experience with on-premise and cloud technologies and information security principles/technologies
- Experience with Broadridge Dataphile system
- SQL query writing and support
- SFTP batch jobs support
- Automation exposure
- Process improvement experience
- Bilingual (French/English) a plus
