Job Summary
Strategic Sourcing Specialist to optimize procurement within manufacturing and production operations based in Nashville, TN. Focus areas include fasteners, MRO supplies, adhesives, consumables, safety products, tools, and other indirect and production support materials. Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies, conduct market research to identify suppliers, negotiate contracts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, monitor supplier performance, and analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years in strategic sourcing or procurement within manufacturing; proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and procurement software; strong negotiation, data analysis, and communication skills. Preference for experience supporting automotive, EV, electronics, or industrial manufacturing operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement within the manufacturing sector
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management
- Proficient in data analysis and familiar with procurement software and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective supplier relationships
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and procurement software
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
