Job Summary
Manage procurement contracting and purchasing for packaged product inventory across multiple locations, including Palm Fat products, while forecasting order patterns and fulfilling them efficiently. Act as the primary point of contact for mill usage and retail sales, overseeing early orders, warehouse tasks, and transfer scheduling to maximize operational efficiency. Collaborate with regional teams, the Retail Technical Sales Specialist, and Operations to coordinate supplier deliveries, resolve variances, and approve vendor invoices. Continuously evaluate inventory levels against minimum/maximum thresholds and seasonal demand to optimize processes and address logistical challenges promptly.
Required Qualifications
- Supply chain management diploma or equivalent experience
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg
- Ability to work outside of regular office hours as required
- Some travel required (<5%)
Desired Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in an agriculture-related, feed manufacturing or supply chain role preferred
- General understanding of the agriculture and livestock production industries preferred
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel) and experience with accounting software are beneficial
