Job Summary
Lead all procurement activities for Panel Build Operations, sourcing materials and components, negotiating contracts, and delivering to meet project schedules and cost objectives. Execute RFQs, evaluate quotations, and manage purchase orders while expediting critical components to support production and on-time deliveries. Drive supplier performance monitoring, risk mitigation through alternate sourcing, and recovery plans for shortages. Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and the Supply Chain Supervisor to resolve material discrepancies and ensure uninterrupted material flow. Optimize working capital, maintain accurate ERP data, and prepare metrics on supplier delivery and procurement effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience within a manufacturing, automation, or project-based production environment
- Demonstrated experience managing supplier relationships, negotiations, sourcing activities, and material expediting
- Strong understanding of Bills of Material (BOMs), manufacturing processes, inventory management, and material planning concepts
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing changing business requirements
- Adherence to all company safety policies and procedures
Desired Qualifications
- Previous electronic component / electromechanical component sourcing
- APICS/ASCM CPIM, CSCP, CPSM, or equivalent supply chain certification
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field
