Job Summary
Request quotes for major equipment and services from suppliers, prepare bid summaries to evaluate commercial proposals, and locate or pre-qualify potential new suppliers for data center and power generation projects. Manage procurement activities within systems including Jira ticket creation and purchase order approvals, while developing strong relationships with vendors. Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Project Managers and Engineers to ensure smooth project execution and communicate progress or challenges via spreadsheets and meetings. This contract-to-hire role supports the execution of innovative data center sites and innovation projects at our Cherry Creek, Denver location.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in direct procurement roles, such as Buyer, Procurement Analyst, Sourcing Specialist
- Strong communication skills with experience dealing with all levels of stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- This is a Contract/Contract to hire role and will be on-site at our Cherry Creek, Denver location (255 Filmore Street Denver, 80206)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with industry-standard procurement software (e.g., Coupa, Ironclad, Jira)
- Experience with procurement processes (P2P)
