Job Summary
Strategic Sourcing Specialist at The Auto Club Group provides support for defined sourcing categories and strategic sourcing/supply chain requirements to deliver the greatest enterprise value. The role acts as a liaison across clubs and departments to procure the necessary goods and services at optimal economic value, supports change management between procurement and internal clients, assists with strategic procurement planning, and helps develop roadmaps and best practices. The position involves supplier performance management, RFx development and execution, contract negotiation and implementation, and collaboration with the AAA federation to leverage opportunities. A hybrid work arrangement is noted, and the compensation range is $90,000–$100,000 with bonus potential; a comprehensive benefits package is offered.
Required Qualifications
- Education: College level coursework in supply chain management or related field
- Experience: Project planning
- Experience: Identifying, analyzing and resolving moderately complex problems
- Experience: Resolving changes in scope, timing, costs, quality and client satisfaction
- Experience: Supporting and contributing transformational level change within a procurement organization
- Experience: Supporting strategic sourcing initiatives across spend categories
- Experience: Supplier development and contract negotiation
- Experience: Developing cost/benefit analyses
- Experience: Writing bid proposals with analytical evaluation capability
- Experience: Negotiation techniques
- Experience: Willing to travel as required to meet business needs
- Experience: Organizing, monitoring and reporting projects
