Job Summary
Represent SS&P with a logistics focus in the product team, ensuring two-way alignment between product development and supply chain operations. Secure product-level material availability across Module Delivery Units and sites while maintaining transparent reporting on logistics risks, critical path status, and Bill of Material readiness. Translate product and integration plans into logistics consequences to drive timely availability of PGP deliverables and proactively identify and mitigate product-level risks before they escalate. Collaborate with MDU leaders, suppliers, and cross-sector stakeholders to resolve constraints and secure execution of logistics actions from definition through ready-for-volume. Manage site-level product logistics NRE budget requests and sign off on product integration plan changes from a logistics readiness perspective.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering or similar technical education
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, sourcing, or project management in a high-tech environment
- Relevant experience in NPI processes, supplier management, logistics implementation, material availability, and SS&P ways of working
- Expert knowledge of SS&P and PLM processes, PGP deliverables, and manufacturing or supplier readiness on logistics elements
- Experience operating across product stakeholders and supporting delivery of modules or product-level logistics deliverables
- This position is located on-site in San Jose, California
- It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings
- Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch
- Occasionally required to move around the campus
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- May require travel (specify domestic and/or international) dependent on business needs
