Job Summary
Strategic Sourcing Manager responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies across key spend categories (notably People/HR technology and related services) with lead roles in RFx processes, negotiations, and supplier governance. Collaborate with Legal, Finance, FP&A, and business stakeholders to optimize supplier performance, manage risk, and ensure policy compliance. Drive cost optimization and category insights across a $25M+ annual portfolio, focusing on cost savings, supplier consolidation, and performance improvements. Expect leadership of sourcing events and negotiations, plus cross-functional partnership for renewals, new initiatives, and M&A integration when needed.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive strategic sourcing or procurement experience
- ownership of People/HR, technology, marketing, or professional services categories
- RFx processes, negotiations, and structured contract agreements
- total cost of ownership and supplier risk management principles
- experience using sourcing and contract management platforms (e.g., ZIP, Ironclad, Ariba, or similar)
- analytical and process management mindset
- Executive-ready communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or related field
- Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, PMP, CPSM, CPM, CSP, or APICS equivalent
- Proficiency with Excel and data visualization tools (Tableau or PowerBI)
