Strategic Sourcing Manager - Technology

Job Summary
Develop and implement innovative sourcing and demand management strategies to achieve business and cost management objectives while minimizing risk associated with supplier spend. Act as a trusted advisor to assigned business groups, influencing negotiations to achieve targeted savings and driving end-to-end execution of sourcing category initiatives. Plan and conduct sourcing events including RFI, RFP, and contract negotiations, while evaluating and selecting suppliers based on market assessments and risk analyses. Manage multiple programs simultaneously, preparing project plans, designing reports, and communicating progress to stakeholders. Apply disciplined procurement policies and risk management frameworks to protect assets and adhere to regulatory requirements. Work hybrid 3x per week at 250 Yonge Street, reporting a salary range of $75,900 to $141,900.
Required Qualifications
- Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant strategic sourcing, supply chain and/or procurement work experience
- Post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in most areas of sourcing
- Knowledge of sourcing/procurement processes, procedures and controls - In-depth
- Knowledge of relevant risk and regulatory requirements - In-depth
- Knowledge of Sourcing in Financial Services or Technology industries - In-depth
- Knowledge of business analysis, project delivery practices and standards across the project lifecycle - In-depth
- Excel and spreadsheet analysis – In-depth
- Negotiation knowledge, skill and ability – In-depth
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement systems and applications
- Financial Services, Financial or Cost Management experience
- Knowledge of the group/business environment and processes and procedures
- Experience in compiling, synthesizing and drawing insights from a variety of research sources
- Demonstrated ability to assess risks including identifying, quantifying and prioritizing risks
- Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience
