Job Summary
Negotiate complex supplier agreements and manage commercial terms while driving cost reductions through data-backed analyses and structured sourcing strategies. Evaluate supplier price increases via detailed cost modeling and market benchmarking, then proactively identify and onboard new suppliers to implement dual-source strategies that improve resilience. Lead global sourcing activities for after-market parts across the DuroDyne and Supco Business Units, developing short- and long-term plans to optimize supply bases and mitigate tariff risks. Act as the primary liaison between Supply Chain, Category Management, and Operations to ensure alignment on initiatives and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Deliver against financial targets including net Material Cost Reduction goals while ensuring continuity of supply and managing supplier-related issues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Professional experience in a manufacturing industry
- At least 8 years of total experience in strategic sourcing and global procurement
- 4+ years of experience specifically in industrial parts and supplies sourcing
- Independent executor who is independently motivated
- Strong sense of ownership, reliability, and responsiveness
- Flexibility and creativeness in finding solutions under critical business situations
- Excellent negotiation abilities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills including with executives and in international contexts
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes and quality control
- Knowledge of economic principles and financial markets
- Competence in computerized procurement systems
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
- Advanced knowledge of Power BI
