Job Summary
Negotiate complex supplier agreements, manage commercial terms, and drive cost reductions through data-backed analyses and structured sourcing strategies for after-market parts across DuroDyne and Supco Business Units. Evaluate supplier price increases via detailed cost modeling and market benchmarking, while proactively identifying and qualifying new suppliers to implement dual-source strategies. Lead negotiations, manage contracts, and establish structured plans for supplier visits to maintain close collaboration and ensure continuity of supply. Deliver against financial targets including net Material Cost Reduction goals, manage supplier-related issues, and develop long-term category plans aligned with organizational objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Professional experience in a manufacturing industry
- At least 8 years of total experience in strategic sourcing and global procurement
- 4+ years of experience specifically in industrial parts and supplies sourcing
- Independent executor who is independently motivated
- Strong sense of ownership, reliability, and responsiveness
- Flexibility and creativeness in finding solutions under critical business situations
- Excellent negotiation abilities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills including with executives and in international contexts
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes and quality control
- Knowledge of economic principles and financial markets
- Competence in computerized procurement systems
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Power BI
