Job Summary
Lead indirect strategic sourcing efforts within Facilities and Operations spend categories by developing short-term and long-term category strategies that align with company goals for value realization and cost reduction. Manage vendor performance and relationships by setting objectives, tracking KPIs, and leading improvement efforts through supplier scorecards. Create sourcing strategies including RFI and RFP development, document bid events, and drive the selection and approval of suppliers in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Develop negotiation strategies, lead cross-functional negotiation teams, and implement supplier risk analysis while managing contracts and contractual dispute resolutions. Prepare vendor recommendations for decision-making and gain buy-in from global and regional leaders. Leverage third-party subject matter experts to benchmark industry trends and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year college degree
- 7+ years of professional work experience
- minimum of 5+ years in an Indirect Strategic Sourcing role
- Motivated to optimize and identify indirect spend cost savings opportunities and driving results
- Problem solving experience in reducing total costs, improving processes, and reducing supplier risk
- Recognized SME within own business unit and across the company with RFI, RFQ, RFP and bid analysis
- Collaborate with technology groups to develop long range sourcing and category plans based on organizational goals and priorities
- Familiarity with contract language and terms
- Self-motivated and collaborative individual contributor
- Resilient and strategic mindset
- Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Ability to organize, summarize, and present complex data and solutions
- Experience sourcing and partnering with stakeholders on a global basis
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Microsoft Office: Power user in Excel
- Intermediate to Advance in PowerBI, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Desired Qualifications
- preference for Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Economics
- Preferred category experience in Facilities and Operations (Indirect Spend)
