Job Summary
Strategic Sourcing Manager for food categories (protein, produce, grocery) overseeing category strategy development, supplier negotiations, MSAs, contract lifecycle management, spend analytics, and cross-functional collaboration across national and international teams. Requires a post-secondary degree/diploma in relevant field and 5+ years in food-related strategic sourcing or procurement; hybrid work in Mississauga, Ontario; strong negotiation, supplier relationship, and data analytics skills; experience with MSAs, RFPs, and procurement systems.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Business, or Commerce - or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in food-related strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management
- Proven expertise in contract negotiation and management
- Strong understanding of category-based buying, vendor capabilities, and distribution processes
- Advanced computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and the full Microsoft Office suite
